Midnight Runners is a 16mm film installation that brings together the mechanical process of film projection and the immersive nature of cinema to explore new relationships to the screen and the moving image. The work draws attention to the contrasting orientations of the vertical celluloid strips, the dynamic square image and the expansive horizontal screen.
