Digital Love 2013

Using excerpts from Bridget Crone’s book The Sensible Stage: Staging and the Moving Image, Digital Love centres on the emergence of an ‘actor-spectator’ who uses democratised means of image production to respond romantically to the cinematic image. The result is a poor image—heavily pixilated, compressed and converted—that occupies a space between the viewer, the screen, and the image.
